A conundrum, indeed--the dilemma of needing and wanting to know the truth while traditionally relied upon sources of that truth are being coopted by the originators and purveyors of the very lies they are marketing as truth. Far too often, whomever shouts the loudest wins the day. And, somewhat sadly, it is up to the network execs to make the choice of which is more important: seeking media share or demanding and defending journalistic integrity at the risk of losing a few rating points.
